Union Township, PA – A baby girl had to be flown to the hospital after a car struck several trees in Clearfield County.
20-year-old Mischa Williams from DuBois had been driving on the Chestnut Grove Highway portion of Route 219 in Union Township around 8:45 p.m. on July 1.
She believes that she fell asleep while driving.
Williams’ Chrysler 200 went off the road, over a ditch, and into multiple trees.
The 2-year-old girl was improperly restrained in the backseat. Upon impact, she struck the rear of the front seat, causing injury.
The toddler was flown by Stat Medevac to UPMC Children’s Hospital for injuries of unknown severity.
