Sandy Township, PA – If your dog can fetch and loves to play Frisbee, take them out to Woofstock this weekend at the Sandy Township Recreational Park!

The disc competition allows the dogs and their handlers to show off their tricks, and there will be challenges on both Saturday and Sunday for toss and fetch, freestyle, and obstacle courses.

Although David Gosch started the event in Maryland 9 years ago, he brought with him when he moved back to DuBois.

All the money raised by the concession stand will go to the Aussie Rescue and Placement Helpline, and the competition is organized by the non-profit Mid-Atlantic Disc Dogs.

You don’t even have to have a dog to come to Woofstock!

Admission is free.

You’re welcome to stop by and watch the dogs show off their skills.

It’s being held at the Sandy Township Recreation Park this Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
