Jones Township, PA – Four people are left with serious injuries after a crash in Elk County on Monday.
It happened in Jones Township just before noon when 26-year-old Si Won failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Marvin Street and Route 321.
He pulled out in front of a Peterbilt truck, driven by 61-year-old Jeffrey McConnell of Big Run. Although McConnell was not injured, everyone in the Honda Odyssey sustained injuries.
The 26-year-old driver and three woman – 25-year-old Yeji Park, 64-year-old Duk An, and an unnamed 38-year-old woman – all had serious injuries and were flown to UPMC Hamot.
Another male passenger, 73-year-old Pan Kim, had minor injuries.
Police do not say where any of the people in the car are from.
