Brockway, PA – The Brockway Area School District School Board approved a $15,790,532 general fund budget during its June meeting Thursday.
The board also made some expenditures during its meeting. It will be using grant money to pay for 26 new security cameras to augment school security. It also approved the purchase of 28 workstations for the computer lab and 81 Chromebooks for three classrooms.
The board decided on three new teachers for the upcoming school year, filling in two resignations and a retirement. Carly Walloch will come to Brockway as a mathematics teacher, Robert Bateman will be the new industrial arts teacher, and Bret Zimmerman will take over a social studies position.
