Punxsutawney, PA – A cashier at the Punxsutawney Walmart was caught selling tobacco to an underage boy.

On Saturday, the PA Department of Health used a 15-year-old boy to test the store along Route 119 as part of a controlled buy.

The cashier, an unidentified 26-year-old Punxsutawney man, allegedly bypassed the system after the boy presented the tobacco product without a valid driver’s license.

The Health Department alerted State Police in Punxsutawney, and the investigation is ongoing.
