Clearfield, PA – PennDOT announced that they will begin working on two area bridges starting Monday.
The bridges are on Route 219 in Clearfield County; spanning Slab Run in Sandy Township near the on-ramps to Interstate 80 near Exit 97.
Flaggers will be present next week, especially for the southbound (right) lane during initial excavation work, before concrete barriers will be installed during the week of April 22nd.
This will cause long-term lane closures as the work will include deck and barrier replacement, approach paving, traffic signal upgrades, guide-rail installation and line painting.
The work on the bridges is expected to be completed by November of this year with final paving and paving markings to be finished by the spring of 2020.
