Pennsylvania – You might think of a thank you note as something you write after you get a gift, but what about whenever someone gives you the gift of their time?
Dropping a card in the mail is especially helpful if you’ve just gone on an interview or if you want to make a good impression on a potential client.
Entrepreneur and professional public speaker Dayna Steele, creator of Your Daily Success Tip, says, “A handwritten note really stands out and makes you memorable. It makes you top of mind.”
It doesn’t need to be a long letter. Just a few, thoughtful lines in a greeting card will do the job.
What about e-mail? Steele says it doesn’t have the same impact.
