Harrisburg, PA – Students, teachers, and politicians got together to rally at the State Capitol for more after school programs that would support Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math learning, also known as STEM.

Senators John Yudichak of Luzerne County and Senator Katie Muth of Chester County were there, saying that students in these programs stay off the streets and learn the skills they need in life and as part of the workforce.

$1.2 billion is provided to after school programs through the 21st Century Learning Center grants program, making up about half the budgets of many local after school programs.
