Clearfield, PA – Today, you’re invited to visit Penn Highlands Clearfield as they team up with PennDOT for a “mocktail party” and share some ways of celebrating safely this St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
Stop by the Clearfield campus of Penn Highlands Hospital anytime today from 10 until 1!
You’ll get to taste-test some alcohol-free “mocktail” recipes for free.
Then try on the impairment simulation goggles or try the impaired driving simulator to learn why it’s so important to not get behind the wheel after you’ve been drinking.
PennDOT will also be there to show you their new SaferRide smartphone app.
There will be plenty of Facebook and Instragram-worthy photo ops, so use the #CelebrateSafe tag to encourage your own friends to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day responsibly.

Wednesday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Penn Highlands Healthcare will host a “mocktail party” at Penn Highlands Clearfield Campus to deter driving under the influence ahead of Saint Patrick’s Day weekend.
Attendees will enjoy “mocktail” beverage recipes to encourage safe-celebration while testing out the impaired driving simulator and impairment simulation goggles. PennDOT personnel will also distribute safe driving information and promote the SaferRide smartphone application.
Participants are encouraged to join the conversation using #CelebrateSafe while sharing their safety selfie from the event on social media.
