Benezette, PA – This weekend at the Elk Country Visitor Center in Benezette, it’s your chance to get back into nature and even learn a new hobby!

This Saturday in Benezette, get up close and personal with an elk’s antlers. During their free program at 2 p.m., you can handle many huge sets of antlers and learn how bull elk use their antlers as weapons of defense.

Then on Sunday at 2, join St. Marys local, Mike Wittman, as he takes you into the world of maple syrup. Learn how the process works, how to tap a tree, and how your favorite pancake topping is made! Who knows… you might even decide to tap a few trees on your own property and start making syrup for yourself!
