Brockway, PA – Parking on Main Street in Brockway is a problem, and a Main Street business owner wants the borough council to look into fixing it.
A business owner told the Brockway Borough Council that employees of Main Street businesses are parking in front of their stores instead of in lots behind them. This makes parking difficult for customers. He also said some cars have been parking along Main Street for days.
Council President Chris “Smoke” Benson said they will look into the issue and talk to the council’s solicitors to see what can be done.
The council also heard from the fire department. They had eight calls in the borough since the last meeting. With the big storm in February, they had to deal with downed trees and power lines. The fire department also has three new members taking fire essential classes right now.
The Brockway Borough Council will meet again April 4 at 7 p.m.
