Brady Township, PA – A Luthersburg family was left homeless after a fire over the weekend.
33-year-old Timothy Berg and his 3-year-old boy had been at their home along Stanley Road in Luthersburg on Saturday night around 9:30 when it caught fire.
Fortunately, everyone was able to escape without any injuries, including their pets.
24-year-old Victoria Berg and a 7-year-old boy were not home at the time.
The state fire marshal determined that fire was accidental. Damage is estimated at $50,000.
The Bergs do not have insurance.
The property is owned by 54-year-old Michael Henry and 47-year-old Renee Henry of Falls Creek.
The Berg family says they’re currently staying at a hotel until they can find a pet-friendly home to rent in the DuBois area. They have two large dogs and a cat.
