DuBois, PA – If chicken and beef just isn’t exciting enough for your taste buds anymore, check out the menu at the Wild Game Feast this Saturday at the DuBois VFW.

Tickets are $10. You’ll be able to sample elk, moose, deer, bear, rabbit, duck, salmon, trout, and a mystery meat. There will also be chicken and ribs for people who aren’t feeling quite as adventurous.

Although you might think of the VFW as a place to get a few drinks, it’s so much more than that. The money from this event will go towards local sportsmans clubs, which provide activities for veterans and for kids.

Doors open at 4, and you can mingle and put in tickets for the raffle items.

Dinner will be served at 5, followed by the speakers for the night, including Rep. Matt Gabler, someone from the Game Commission giving an update about Chronic Wasting Disease, and some spokespeople from the local sportsman clubs. They’re also raffling off a Ruger American 243 at the end of the night.
