One of the first women to break the “blue barrier” was Janice Bart.
Today she’s the police officer in charge of the DuBois Area School District, but she began her law enforcement career as a Pennsylvania State Trooper.
Officer Bart says it’s particularly important for her to be a good role model for the students she works with everyday.
Listen to the interview with Officer Bart, plus the full Contact Show from Police Appreciation Day.
