DuBois, PA – The Junior Scholastic Challenge that was postponed due to snow last week has been rescheduled for Monday.

Carol Foltz, the longtime organizer of the event that’s been going on for 22 years for the middle schoolers and 32 years for the high schoolers, says it’s a unique competition that allows kids to test their academic skills.

The questions range from math, science, history, English, literature, and current events.

The Junior Scholastic Challenge will now be held on Monday, March 4 at 6:30 at the Hiller Auditorium at the Penn State DuBois campus.

This is a free event, and you’re encouraged to come cheer them on!

DuBois, DuBois Central Catholic, Brockway, Brookville, Clearfield, Punxsutawney, and St. Marys will be competing this year.

The Senior Scholastic Challenge will be next Wednesday, March 6, at 6:30 at Penn State DuBois, featuring high school students from the same schools.
