Mahaffey, PA – A missing Clearfield County woman has been located in good health, but she says she purposefully didn’t want to be found.
The family of 30-year-old Delona Jade Bowser from Mahaffey had reported her as missing whenever she failed to show up to visit her child in Grampian on Feb. 4.
She was believed to be with her boyfriend, Joshua Banks of Brockway.
After many tips from the public, Bowser was found. She told police that she didn’t come forward or cooperate with law enforcement because she simply did not want to be found.
The state police troopers who worked on this case want to thank everyone for calling in and helping them locate the woman. Even if she doesn’t come back to Mahaffey, her concerned family and friends at least have the peace of mind that she’s alive and in good health.
