Brockway, PA – Fire damaged a commercial and apartment building in Brockway yesterday, but thankfully no one was injured.

The 3-story building that housed True Value and apartments in the 400 block of Brockway’s Main Street caught fire around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Fire crews say the flames originated in apartment three on the second floor of the building, where 30-year-old Jordan Barroclough lived. He was not home at the time.

Investigators say the fire was caused by an electrical issue in the kitchen.

The building owner is listed as 78-year-old Anthony Salandra of Brockway.

Fortunately, everyone was able to escape without injury. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
