Brookville, PA – Another man is facing felony charges after an undercover internet predator sting in Brookville.
Police posed as a 15-year-old girl in August of 2018 and sent a friend request on a social media site to 26-year-old Ronald Clark Jr. of Brookville.
When the officers pretending to be the girl let Clark know that she was 15, he reportedly continued to talk with her in a sexual way.
Clark made plans to meet with the girl on Oct. 14 and was taken to into custody by police after a traffic stop.
He faces felony charges of unlawful contact with a minor, criminal solicitation, criminal attempt of statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors, and criminal use of a communication facility.
Clark is lodged in the Jefferson County Jail after being unable to post $50,000 bail. There’s no word yet on when his preliminary hearing will be.
This news comes just days after another man, 50-year-old Edwin Botwright of Brockway, was caught in a similar sting.
