Clarion, PA – A Clarion man is facing charges for the overdose death of another Clarion County man in August.

26-year-old Matthew McDermid drove 26-year-old Tanner Eisenman to Pittsburgh to buy heroin.

The drugs were laced with fentanyl, and Eisenman was found dead in his home the next day.

McDermid is facing multiple felony charges. He’s free on $50,000 bail. McDermid’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 22.

The Pittsburgh drug dealer who was involved, 25-year-old Dameon Arrington, remains in the Clarion County Prison.
