DuBois, PA – The assistant superintendent of the DuBois Area School District has been assigned to the day-to-day duties left behind by superintendent Dr. Luke Lansberry as he is “on paid leave.”

It’s still uncertain what this means for the superintendent position at the school or whether Dr. Lansberry will be returning.

The DuBois administration is not commenting on any reasons for the paid leave.

In the meantime, the district still needs someone to continue to everyday duties, such as signing paperwork.

Assistant superintendent Wendy Benton will be taking care of those assignments.
