DuBois, PA – A Brockway man will be in court this Friday for allegedly breaking the jaw of a DuBois woman.

43-year-old Terrance Sloan reportedly harassed the woman at her home on South Main Street on Dec. 5.

The victim says three people came to her porch looking for another man, who she said wasn’t home.

They got angry and, after the victim called Sloan a racial slur, he reportedly punched her in the face.

The woman’s jaw was broken in two places. This required a surgery, and she lost a tooth.

The three people were tracked down by using security footage from the nearby Penn Highlands Q-Care, where they had parked before walking to the woman’s house.

Sloan is facing charges of simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, harassment, and criminal trespass. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday. Until then, Sloan remains incarcerated on $25,000 bail.
