Johnsonburg, PA – Johnsonburg residents will be paying slightly higher taxes next year.
The Johnsonburg Borough Council approved a half a mill tax increase for the 2019 budget. That brings the millage rate for 28.36 mills.
One mill is equal to $1 in taxes for every $1,000 in assessed value on your property. That means if your property was assessed at $50,000 in Johnsonburg, you can expect to pay about $1,400 in property taxes next year.
