Reynoldsville, PA – A well-loved 14-year-old boy who has been battling neuroblastoma for the past 8 years is asking you to send him a Christmas card.
Ever since Maddox Hyde was diagnosed in 2010, his school, the community, Make-A-Wish, and other nonprofits have been showing their support for his family.
You might remember just this summer, we caught up with Maddox right before he took a trip to Hawaii, courtesy of the nonprofit Jamie’s Dream Team. Make-A-Wish gave Maddox his wish of a shopping spree when he was first diagnosed.
Now Maddox’s tumors have spread to the back base of his head. He and his family have decided to stop treatments and allow Maddox to live the next few weeks of his life at home instead of in the hospital.
Maddox would like you to help fill his home with some messages and Christmas cards from near and far.
Please take a moment to send a card to him at 333 Ohio Street, Reynoldsville, PA 15851, and encourage your friends around the world to do the same.
