Reynoldsville, PA – A Jefferson County teen is in court after police say they found drugs in his backpack during an interview at the police station.

19-year-old Chase Slima of Reynoldsville agreed to meet with police after he had a warrant against him.

When he came to the police station on Nov. 1, officers say he seemed like he was on drugs.

They checked his backpack and found a pill bottle that belonged to one of his family members, containing Lorazepam (also known as Ativan, a sedative).

Police also found several Pure-Whip N20 chargers that Slima admitted he had inhaled to get high. There was also a small amount of marijuana in his backpack, along with several unused bags and a scale.

Slima faces felony charges for the manufacture, delivery, or possession with intent to deliver and other misdemeanor drug charges.

He is currently free on $20,000 bail, with his preliminary hearing scheduled for today.
