Clearfield, PA – A teen boy was taken into custody in Clearfield after he reportedly tried to rob the Pantry Petroleum store.

The unnamed teen allegedly went into the store around closing time on Thursday night, pointed a handgun at the clerk, and demanded money.

Police were able to track the boy down because he had left footprints in the fresh snow.

They recovered the money and took the handgun, then turned over the teen to Clearfield County Juvenile Probation.
