DuBois, PA – Melissa Strong and her 8-year-old son, Levi, came to the DuBois VFW Post 813 on Veterans Day to show their appreciation for the men and women who served our country.
They handed out more than 300 of the baggies, which contained a patriotic pin, a buttermint in a red white and blue wrapper, and a photo with a magnet on the back. The photo was taken by Melissa Strong and is of the American side of Niagara Falls when it was lit up with red white and blue lights.
Levi has been helping his mom with this project for the past 4 years.
