DuBois, PA – This Friday, DuBois Central Catholic is continuing its tradition and hosting its 12th Annual Veterans Day Celebration.

Vets are asked to come sign-in on Friday morning at 8:20 in the school’s two main foyers.

The event gets underway at 8:30 a.m.with coffee and donuts and a patriotic program of music and song in the school’s cafeteria.

Veterans will then be escorted to the gymnasium and given seats of honor on the gym floor for the 9:15 a.m. liturgy. Students, parents, faculty, and staff will occupy the bleachers.

A formal Presenting of the Colors Ceremony by the DuBois Honor Guard will begin the ceremony.

The Veterans Mass will be honoring those in attendance as well as all military past and present.

The celebration will conclude with the “traditional raising of the flag” at the outdoor flagpole, complete with the three-volley salute and taps.

All local veterans are invited to attend so DCC students can recognize their service to our country.

Please call DuBois Central Catholic at 371-3060 to confirm your attendance.
