DuBois, PA – The lampposts in DuBois will soon showcase the faces and names of those who have served our community and our country.

The Downtown DuBois Revitalization Group plans on installing Hometown Heroes banners, which will feature military members or first responders, such as police, firefighters, and EMS.

Listen to the full interview with Dan Bowman, the manager of the Downtown DuBois Revitalization Group.

It costs $200 to sponsor a banner.

That money will go towards other projects in Downtown DuBois. Banners will show the name, photo, service information, medallion, and sponsor’s name.

If you’re interested in sponsoring a banner for someone you love who has served our community, stop by the Downtown DuBois Revitalization office (inside the Parkside Community Center) or see board member Lisa Gabler.
