Pittsburgh, PA – The Steel City has adopted a rallying cry of “stronger than hate” in the aftermath of a shooting that took 11 lives and injured 6 others at a Pittsburgh synagogue.

During a vigil on Sunday, people of all faiths came to the podium to show their support, including Liddy Barlow (a Christian) and Wasi Mohamed (a Muslim).

Police chief Scott Shubert says four police officers were among the six victims that were injured. The police station is already receiving cards and food deliveries.

If you would like to donate to the families of the victims, a GoFundMe page has been set up and has already raised more than $540,000.

The synagogue says that, wherever you are, you can also help just by doing a good deed for another person or getting to know someone who is different from you.
