Brookville, PA – Interstate 80 eastbound is back open after a tractor-trailer accident last night forced parts of the highway to close in Clarion and Jefferson Counties.
A tractor-trailer that was hauling steel coils rolled over around 5:30 Wednesday afternoon.
It happened near mile marker 80 close to North Fork Bridge, between Brookville and Hazen.
One person suffered minor injuries, although no one is being identified at this time.
Traffic in the eastbound lane was detoured off exit 70 to Strattanville, then onto Route 322 through Brookville, then back onto I-80 by exit 81 for Hazen.
The roadway was eventually reopened around 10 p.m., about 4.5 hours after the crash.
