Brookville, PA – Our community is pulling together for a man who will have a long journey after an eventual transplant.

Luke McCool, a 31-year-old man from the Brookville area, needs a kidney transplant and is going to have overwhelming medical, lodging and travel expenses.

People are stepping up to hold a cornhole tournament and benefit dinner and raffle to raise money for his family. It will be held on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds in Brookville.

Registration for cornhole starts at 11, and the tournament begins at 2.

An “after-party” will start at 5 p.m., with a pig roast and picnic food.

Cost is $10 per person for those not in the cornhole tournament and $5 those who played cornhole.

There will also be raffles, 50/50, and a silent auction.
