Clearfield, Jefferson, Elk Counties, PA – Your usual blue Valpak envelope filled with coupons in your mailbox will be pink for the month of October.

Valpak owner Aaron Beatty says it’s about so much more than just going pink for breast cancer awareness… it’s about actually raising funds for research and helping people share their stories.

Listen to the full interview with Aaron Beatty.

Valpak has partnered with Susan G. Komen to raise money for breast cancer research. The businesses shown on the coupons inside have helped raise money for the cause.

Across all of Valpak’s partners, they have helped to raise more than $115,00 that will go directly to Komen. The Valpak company itself has also pledged to donate a minimum of $50,000.

Inside of the envelope you’ll find in your mailbox this weekend, you’ll see the face of renowned TV chef and breast cancer survivor, Sandra Lee. You can read her story and nominate someone in your own life as a hero.

Follow the directions inside the envelope to recognize someone as a More Than Pink hero. 25 lucky sweepstakes winners who enter will receive a set of pink KitchenAid appliances in support of Cook for the Cure. This includes a stand mixer, a blender, a 2-speed hand blender, and a 5-speed hand mixer, worth a total of $809.

500 lucky people will also open up their envelope to find that they have immediately won a pink KitchenAid immersion blender just by looking through their specially marked Valpak envelope.

Remember, you always have the chance of winning $100 each month that you receive your Valpak envelope, including the month of October.

Take a look inside that envelope, nominate someone you love, and continue to support the fight against breast cancer!
