Clarion, PA – A 28-year-old man who was recently found guilty of raping a 12-year-old girl in Clarion County was sentenced to 20 to 40 years in state prison.

Lars Rindahl of Lebanon County received 240 to 480 months for felony rape of a child and 24 to 48 months for felony statutory sexual assault.

The sentences will run concurrently, and he will receive credit for 47 days that he has already served.

The victim had been visiting a family member in Clarion County in December of 2013 when she was left alone with the man. He reportedly began touching her, and she was too afraid to tell him to stop.

Rindahl will be required to maintain a lifetime registration as a sex offender. He’ll also have to attend sex offender counseling and must avoid all contact with the victim and her family.
