Brookville, PA – A Reynoldsville man was in court this week but will stay in jail until his hearing for allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase.

38-year-old Bradley Rhodes of Reynoldsville reportedly fled from police on his Harley Davidson during a traffic stop in Brookville of Aug. 30.

Rhodes took off at speeds between 80 and 100 miles per hour, from Brookville until Emerickville. Police followed him for about 5.5 miles before discontinuing the chase for the safety of other drivers and pedestrians.

Rhodes later fled from police again when they tried to serve him a warrant a few days later. Again, he fled from police in a pickup truck for about 5 miles before being caught in Summerville the next morning.

Rhodes is being charged with two felony counts of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, plus many summary traffic violations. He will remain in the Jefferson County Jail on $80,000 bail until his sentencing, which is yet to be scheduled.
