Brockway, PA – A Brockway man will be in court this week after allegedly firing a pistol into the air multiple times and then threatening his own life in front of children. 31-year old David Park reportedly became agitated at a family yard sale back in August and started to swear in front of children. A family member asked him to “watch his mouth” and he reportedly went back into the house. That’s when family members decided to leave to let Park “cool down” when he came out of the house with a pistol and fired a few rounds into the air.
As family members got into their vehicle Park allegedly walked up to the car and held the gun to his head and threatened his own life in front of four children. Afraid for their safety the remaining family members fled and called police. Park was taken into custody a few hours later and is now facing charges of terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, and public drunkenness.
His preliminary hearing is set for September, 28th.
