Eldred Township, PA – A woman had to be flown to the hospital after she crashed into a tree yesterday in Jefferson County.

47-year-old Stacy Hall of Marienville fell asleep while driving around 9:45 yesterday morning along Route 36 near Sigel. Her SUV went off of the road, struck a utility pole, and then hit a tree.

Hall had been wearing her seat belt, but she suffered injuries of unknown severity.

She was taken to Penn Highlands, where she was then flown to a trauma center by helicopter.
