Clearfield, PA – Two men in Clearfield County stole nearly $30,000 using a stolen gas card.
Police do not name the suspects yet, only listing them as a 35-year-old man and a 47-year-old man, both from Clearfield.
They say the men used a card that had been stolen from Castelli Oil and Gas to purchase fuel between May and August.
The majority of the money – $29,105.90 of it – was spent at Sapp Brother’s Truck Stop over 94 different times. They also purchased gas at the Bigler Minimart and three other locations.
Police are continuing to investigate this case.
