DuBois, PA – Police are adding more charges for a drug dealer who had been caught bringing meth into our area.
36-year-old William Donnelly of Philadelphia was pulled over early in the morning on Aug. 22 in DuBois.
He had slid through the intersection of Liberty Boulevard and North Park Place around 12:50 a.m.
Whenever he took out his ID to give to police, the officer noticed that Donnelly had a large amount of cash in his wallet.
Because this is his second case just this summer, officers also recognized Donnelly as a known drug dealer.
When they searched his Jeep, they found multiple baggies of suspected methamphetamine, and Donnelly was carrying nearly $5,000 in cash on him.
Earlier in June, Donnelly was charged for selling meth to a confidential informant in DuBois.
After this traffic stop, he now faces additional felony charges of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, a misdemeanor count of intentional possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Friday.
