Clearfield, Jefferson, and Elk Counties, PA – Communities are a little closer after yesterday’s National Night Out, a celebration in towns around America to help encourage people to interact with their local police officers, government officials, and first responders.

In Clearfield, it was their first National Night Out. Along with all of the games, a obstacle course for bicycles, prizes, and costumed characters for the kids, Sergeant Nate Curry from the Clearfield Borough Police showed off a impaired and distracted driving simulator for the adults.

It was one of the biggest years for National Night Out in Brockway… the 25th anniversary! April London, the organizer of the event there, says they knew they had to make it even bigger and better this year. Listen to her full interview.

Thanks to everyone who helped make it once again a family-friendly night out without drugs, alcohol, or crime!
