Stump Creek, PA – A horse and buggy crashed on Sunday in Jefferson County, overturning with eight people inside.

The buggy was traveling along Route 119 between Sykesville and Stump Creek around 8 a.m. Sunday morning when the horse became frightened.

It went off the road and up an embankment, which caused the buggy to flip over.

Police do not list the names or ages of any of the eight people involved in the buggy crash, but they do say that two of the occupants had to be taken by ambulance to Penn Highlands DuBois with moderate injuries.
