DuBois, PA – If you drive through DuBois overnight or in the evenings, be prepared to take another route for the next three nights as paving continues on DuBois Avenue.
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. each night, PennDOT will be paving DuBois Avenue from its intersection with Liberty Boulevard (Route 219) to the intersection with Shaffer Road (Route 4017).
This is about 1.5 miles of roadway that will be paved.
During the next three nights, traffic along DuBois Avenue will be controlled by flaggers.
There will be long delays, so please find an alternate route if you would usually be driving along DuBois Avenue from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.
All work is weather dependent.
This project is part of a county-wide paving contract for Clearfield and Elk counties. New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co. Inc of New Enterprise, Pa., is the contractor on this $7.5 million project, which is expected finish by Nov. 9.
