Summerville, PA – Somebody has been dumping trash at a Summerville resident’s property without permission.
Six large bags of garbage were left at a home near Shields Road and Conifer Road last week.
Whoever left it there seemed to be cleaning out a kitchen. The bags contained pots and pans, small appliances, food, dog and cat food cans, and cat litter.
If you’re caught leaving litter somewhere, you could be fined up to $300 for the first offense and may even face jail time if you are caught multiple times.
If you have a large amount of trash that you need to get rid of but aren’t sure how, many waste companies offer one-time pickups for a small fee, even if you’re not a current customer.
You are also able to drop off bags of trash at the Greentree Landfill in Kersey.
