DuBois, PA – Traffic was slow on Interstate 80 for a couple of hours yesterday evening after a tractor trailer fire near DuBois.

Although details are still limited, the tractor trailer caught fire around 5 p.m. near mile marker 106 in the westbound lane, between the DuBois and Penfield exits.

I-80 was closed off briefly, but one lane was reopened about 40 minutes later.

Fire crews worked hard to contain the fire and clean up the scene afterwards.

There is no word who was involved, why the tractor trailer caught fire, or if anyone was injured.

We expect to have a more detailed update later today.
