Houtzdale, PA – The final members of a family involved in a Clearfield County cocaine ring have been sent to state prison.

52-year-old Pamela Gavlak was sentenced to 22 months to 5 years in prison for her role in a drug ring involving her two children, her son-in-law, and his uncle.

The case dates back to a lengthy investigation last spring in Houtzdale. The ring was reportedly selling more than $10,000 of cocaine each month. In the final bust, officers seized more than 70 grams of cocaine, $2,750 in cash, and various drug paraphernalia.

Although Gavlak’s attorney argued that she had not actually sold the drug, the investigation showed evidence of people buying about two grams a cocaine a week from her.

Gavlak’s children, 28-year-old Robert Gavlak and 35-year-old Catherine Anderson were part of the cocaine ring, led by Catherine’s husband, 46-year-old Todd Anderson. Anderson’s uncle, Leroy Bryant, was also involved. They have all been sentenced.

  • Catherine Anderson – 11.5 months to 2 years in county jail and 2 years of probation
  • Robert Gavlak – 11.5 months to 2 years in county jail and 5 years of probation
  • Leroy Bryant – 8 to 16 years in state prison
  • Todd Anderson – 8 to 16 years in state prison
