Brockway, PA – It’s a new young face with the Brockway Borough Council! The student borough council representatives at Brockway got a new member Thursday night.

Junior Salem Murray was sworn in.

Murray is a junior at Brockway Area Junior-Senior High School and joins senior Jordan Faith on the council.

The Taylor Memorial Park Revitalization Committee will have a public meeting July 12 at the Brockwayville Depot to talk about the results of the interest survey.

Finally, the council got the police report from the Fourth of July.  There were no major incidents and the event was deemed a success.  Council President Chris “Smoke” Benson praised everyone involved with the event.
