DuBois, PA – Johnson Motors will be adding Buick and GMC to their lineup, buying out the Osburn company in DuBois.
Although some of the paperwork still has to the filed at the state level, they’re expecting to move forward with the purchase within a month or two.
Bob Johnson, president of Johnson Subaru in DuBois, says both companies are happy with the arrangements.
Johnson Motors won’t be buying any additional land to house the new Buick and GMC vehicles. Instead, they’ll expand the new car delivery area and making it into a Buick GMC area. They’ll move the new car delivery to another area.
Johnson expects to hire about two to four extra people as they add Buick and GMC to the lineup. At least one of those employees will be coming from Osburn.
This brings the total number of vehicle lines at Johnson motors to five: Chevrolet, Cadilac, Subaru, Buick, and GMC.
