Corsica, PA – A Corsica man was shaken up but otherwise unharmed last week when a tree fell and landed on his car.

63-year-old Robert Titterington had been driving along Route 28, just east of Davis Lane near Summerville, around 10:30 a.m. on June 27, when a large tree fell from the right side of the roadway and landed on top of his car.

Titterington was able to get out of the car without any injuries, but his vehicle was damaged.

The road was shut down briefly, but it wasn’t long before a couple of Amish men offered to cut up the tree and remove it from the car.
