DuBois, PA – A Luthersburg man is being charged after allegedly offering to pay women for sex.

The investigation began when 63-year-old Mitchell Mancuso reportedly approached a woman on June 10 in the parking lot of the DuBois Giant Eagle.

The woman says that Mancuso first asked her if she “wanted to make an easy $200” and then offered larger amounts of money. When she kept refusing, he started to get out of his vehicle and she ran away to a nearby gas station.

Two other women in the area told police that the same thing had happened to them, and security footage from the store’s parking lot showed it happening to the first woman.

Police were able to track down Mancuso, who later confessed to trying to get the women to go home with him. He says he was lonely because his girlfriend went back to Ohio.

Mancuso is being charged with patronizing prostitutes, promoting prostitution, and harassment.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 27.
