Clearfield County, PA – Kids helping kids… a local Girl Scouts group helped start a conversation and raise awareness about child abuse.

Troop #41997 from Houtzdale made blue ribbon pins for the second year in a row and distributed them to the community in support of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The ribbons were hand made by the girls as they work towards their Bronze award, the highest achievement that Junior Girl Scouts can earn.

Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., had a special meeting to honor the girls and thank them for their hard work and for their continued support of the Child Advocacy Center of Clearfield County.
