Brookville, PA – A Brookville man allegedly stole a car, a cell phone, and money from a woman in Brookville.

21-year-old Jacob Keesecker is facing felony theft charges and other related charges.

The victim called police on June 9 to report that her car had been taken sometime between 3 and 6:45 a.m., along with her cell phone and about $350. She had been staying at a friend’s house on Richards Street in Brookville at the time, along with another friend, Jacob Keesecker, who is now accused of stealing the items.

Keesecker was arrested later that afternoon after the vehicle was spotted in Reynoldsville. He has a history of mostly theft charges, and he had previously served time for a burglary.

Keesecker is facing felony charges of receiving stolen property and theft by unlawful taking, along with misdemeanors for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property, and theft by unlawful taking.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 10.
